Absolutely love that the weather is getting a little warmer here in New York, even though we’re expecting some early “April Showers” over the next few days!
I have this sweater in the black and the cream, and it’s definitely the perfect addition to your wardrobe for spring. It can be paired with destroyed denim, a flowy patterned skirt, or your favorite cut offs. Also, can’t get enough of these frayed cropped jeans from Forever 21! They have a little stretch to them, and hugs all your curves! These are so perfect for spring and summer, and are definitely a conversation starter!
EEK! Update on this shimmery, pale pink slip dress that was one of my choices for Valentine’s Day… it’s on SALE and available in most sizes! It’s been marked down to $24.99, fits like a glove in all the right places and the slit up the side is so sexy! Absolutely love this midi-dress for spring. Pair now with a black fur coat (as shown below) or in the spring with nude, strappy heels and a tan leather jacket.
A fun, fall weekend activity in Charleston, SC consists of oyster shuckin’, live music and romantic views. While visiting my mom this past weekend, I experienced my first ever Oyster Roast, and what an amazing experience it was! Unlimited, steamy oysters, which you shuck yourself, gloves and shucking picks are provided along with different toppings. My favorite is a few dashes of hot sauce on a saltine cracker — Delish!
When I’m visiting my mom down south, it’s always tough to determine how to dress, especially because the weather varies so much from in New York! This weekend was actually pretty chilly, highs in the low 60’s.
One of my favorite pieces I bought this summer during Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale, was this BLANKNYC faux leather moto jacket. Every time I wear this jacket, I get so many compliments because the color is so striking and different from the average black leather jacket. It always adds a pop of color when your wearing neutral colored pieces.
Happy Friday to all my readers! Many of you who know me, know I love Conor McGregor and this weekend is the first ever UFC Fight Card at Madison Square Garden and my love, The Notorious, is the headline event! I’m so excited I could scream!!
UFC in NYC at MSG, it’s gonna be a fight for the books!
So what better way to welcome the weekend than with a glass of bubbly and a cute fall ensemble!? This mock-neck cutout top could be one of my favorites right now in my closet! This top was another purchase from my visit in September to Charleston at an adorable boutique downtown. I have found a few similar options listed below.
Since this season has been all about the O-T-K boot, I figured I’d share with you my favorite pair right now which I snagged during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
Happy Halloween, to all my readers! This weekend, my friends and I went upstate to New Paltz, NY, to pack in as many “fall” activities you can in a weekend! The weather was absolutely perfect – a perfect crisp fall weekend and unbeatable fall foliage.
We went apple and pumpkin picking at Dubois Farms in Highland, NY before venturing off to some local vineyards.
My first outfit of the weekend was spent for apple and pumpkin picking, and I have to admit I didn’t really pack appropriately when it came to my footwear. For some reason, I wasn’t thinking we would be walking around in dirt and mud, so I packed my suede block heeled booties; luckily, we didn’t run into too much mud!
Love the casual feel of my outfit, the long-line hooded sweater was purchased last week from, you’ll never guess where… Forever 21… for under $23!! Great find, and the long sweaters are very “in” this season, my wardrobe feels like I time hopped back to middle school with the chokers, long sweaters, flared jeans, etc.
So, many of you have asked where you can get this L’atiste Odyssey floral maxi, that I wore to Nobu Malibu, which I am head over heels about both! Everything at Nobu exceeded all expectations I had for this establishment: the food was amazing, the service was great and you truly cannot beat the view!
This dress I am wearing a small, it’s true to size (it would look a little better if my tata’s were a little larger, but hey, what can ya do?!) It was a little long on me, but with my favorite Steve Madden Melina heeled booties, it just grazes the floor. This dress is so perfect for fall and spring. It wraps and leaves little to the imagination with the low plunge neckline and open slit in the front. When I saw this at the most adorable boutique in Charleston, SC, I knew I had to have it.

Some of my favorites are below (& in my shopping bag now)! Which are your favorites??
I found the most beautiful, feminine top perfect for transitioning from summer to fall. It showcases my favorite summer trends: off the shoulder and pale blue, while also being long sleeved, and having a feminine floral print, making it an all time favorite!
I scored this gorgeous top at a trendy boutique in Charleston, SC over Labor Day weekend. I love how well it pairs with this felt floppy hat and semi-destroyed flared jeans (which I can’t believe are back in style; my inner 16 year old is loving this)!! I’ve included similar finds of the top here, here and here. This top from the boutique, is nowhere to be found online, sorry readers! The brand is L’atiste by Amy, if you’re able to find it online, please let me know!! Also, here is almost an identical print in an open back, flowy maxi dress and it’s absolutely gorgeous!!
This fall I am SO loving this olive green color for dresses, vests, army jackets, sweaters — it’s so in!
I found this adorable BP woven shirt dress, which is a great transition piece from summer to fall, during the much anticipated Nordstrom Anniversary sale. I’m so excited to finally make it’s long over due debut on crème! With the weather getting a little cooler this weekend, I would pair this with some tan booties and a leather jacket; perfect solution from day to night dress.
I paired this little number with Steve Madden Lace Up Nude Suede Sandals Heels, which are surprisingly very comfy and I walked all around Soho for this shoot (also shot by photographer and friend, Jason Mize).
As promised, below are my top picks for the #nsale which opens to the public today!! In my opinion, it’s the best sale of the entire year!! These items are all brand new fall / winter wardrobe pieces that are on sale to up to 40%! Once August 8th comes around, all of these items featured in the sale will go back up to original price!
As mentioned in my last post, an insider note, you should just buy whatever size available (if yours if not available) and then do an exchange once the sale ends and the inventory is restocked. That way you ARE guaranteed to be locked into the anni sale price. This is the perfect time to stock up on this fall’s favorite boots, dresses, sweaters, demin, outerwear, handbags, cosmetics, etc. Below are my TOP picks for the 2016 Nordstrom Anni Sale!
